Hey, DA. Sorry that it's been such a while since my last entry. Not that i have been absent or inactive but much rather i've been having my eyes and mind on some new things in my life. No idea where to start or begin so i'm just summing up that I've been on a self-help crusade to regaining my creative confidence. I've been working at a recently new job since January and have been coming to terms over time. The terms are that if I'm gonna continue drawing, I gotta accept my shortcomings that I've been dealing with and expand my worldview a bit.

-I've been taking on a lot more reading and outside activities
-Learning new/different skills
-Learning how to create my own source of motivation and confidence
(Most importantly)- Organizing and prioritizing my life.

-and the list continues to go on with each preparation. There's also thoughts on just shutting down userpages on extra sites like this one since feedback here isn't that entirely well; and I find that feedback and good public relation is essential. BUT!! Like I said, they are only thoughts so it's not likely to happen unless i'm fully convinced. I'm aware that success and popularity will not happen in an instant, it's something that is built over time. To me, DA is like early 1900s New York. It's the usual spot where people who are looking for a fresh start will obviously start at only to be disappointed early on. New users struggle at first to be acknowledged until they resort to playing dirty. Not alot of people take failure well and that feeling is encouraged without some feedback to go on, a comment or two, and would most likely quit before getting anywhere.

But I digress, once I have my entire objective clarified and my plan set, there are going to be some changes to my approach. In the meantime, I'll try to keep you guys into consideration.

Yeah, I said there should be more of her so I made it happen. Oddly enough, I couldn't really see to shade it the same way as the first and I couldn't figure out how I should do it. So I think I'll just leave it flat until I change my mind for revision.

But more importantly.... where the hell's the rest of that cake?

These days, it's been getting more difficult to focus on drawing/painting without the need to get up after about 10-20 minutes. The rate becomes shorter. Here's what I've tried so far

-Timer/Constraints
-Break/Return
-Walk/Exercise
-Music (Rock, Classical, Electronic, Baroque) from speakers only.

The measures always appears to be random depending on the mood. And even within that span of time, I feel I don't get very far.
You know that feeling that you are just brimming with potential but there's one obstacle which you are having trouble getting over? But in this case, the only way I seem to get over it seems to take up more time and patience than necessary and the anxiety from it  makes you stop.

Okay, so to stop with riddles. I can't seem to draw because I fall into guilt that I still owe works to people that seem to take more into practice than to actual progress. And more anxiety comes from declining because it makes it seem that I'm gonna piss them off. No money has been paid yet, but still. Good nature gets in my way in an OCD kind of fashion.

How can I get over this hurdle?

Zambati-Shiharizati
Or Zati for short. ^^

Finally got to coloring this and I think She and this are just amazing. ^^
She belongs to fantastic artist D.E. Belton a.k.a getdestroyed-staydestroyed.tum…

If you haven’t seen his work yet, then I’m a little concerned about your well-being.
